Software Package

(OP)
I am intending to purchase a software package for my company in order to ba able to calculate short-circuits, load flow, starting of motors, etc. for power stations. I believe that PSS/ADEPT and ABB software are the best. Can you give me any hint or recommendation on this matter? Cheers.

RE: Software Package

Are you modeling industrial power systems or utility systems?

RE: Software Package

Suggestion: Check:
E.g. SKM, Inc. (DAPPER, A-FAULT, etc.), OTI, Inc. (ETAP), EDSA, etc.
Visit these businesses web sites:
                         http://www.skm.com
                         http://www.etap.com
                         http://www.edsa.com
for more info.

They have manuals that support the software and tech support. They are informative too.
