Replacing / Relinking a part file to a draft

Replacing / Relinking a part file to a draft

Replacing / Relinking a part file to a draft

(OP)
I've recently started doing a little vba programming in order to automate a few tasks that I'm continuously doing.

I'm trying to create a new copy of a part (like you would do through Insight Connect-Rev Manager) so that the part can be slightly modified from the original.

The basics of what I have is:

1. Part1.par drafted in Draft1.dft
THEN
2. Copy (above files) to create Part2.par and Draft2.dft
NOW
3. I now have to redefine model link in Draft2.dft so that it references Part2.par  (HELP!)

I hope that explains it.

If someone could toss me a little vb code on this, that would be great!  Or if there are any suggestions on a better way to automate this task then please feel free to submit it.

Thanks in advance,
