SIEMENS S7-200 USS comms

(OP)
Hi all,

Struglling to find documentation or examples for comms between a Simatic S7-200 and sone drives using USS protocol.

Anybody point me in the right direction ?

RE: SIEMENS S7-200 USS comms

Dazmac:

Check out the optional Step7-MicroWin command library.  It has both the USS and Modbus protocol blocks and instructions for their use.

Regards,

Rob

Thanks Rob,

It's been a while since I used S7-200's, my software version is V2.1. Have now checked with Siemens and spotted the upgrade to V3 and the optional pack you mentioned. Thanks again,

Darren
