Option "Fail Strain" doesn¦t work ??

Option "Fail Strain" doesn¦t work ??

Option "Fail Strain" doesn¦t work ??

(OP)
Hello,

have a problem in using the option "fail strain" in the material modul. I defined the material by using the density, plastic and the elastic option. Everything works quiet fine, but the option "fail Strain" doesn´t work. I want the  material to fail after 15% strain in the E11, so i entered the following values for example:

Ten Strain Fiber Dir: 0.15
com Strain Fiber Dir: -0.15
Ten Strain Transv Dir: 0.15
Com Strain Transv Dir: -0.15
Shear Strain: -0.15

The value 0.15 is only an example! When i plot E11 versus the time i can´t see the fail of the material. The plot is the same like without the option "Fail Strain" The material orientation is  defined by creating a CSYS in the part.

What could be the problem? The documentation is not very useful at this point.

Thanks in advance
