I need your help on "Lamiflex" sealing strip on logitudinal baffle of TEMA "F" shell.  Please advise the commonly used types e.g. single layer or multiple layers or any other sepcial shapes and material details e.g. what kind of material is not prone to lose its resiliency at 500~700 deg F. Are there any maintenance problems.

Thanks a lot.

RE: Lamiflex sealing

Dear fellow,
Now I am doing project with lamiflex longitudinal baffle.
I use multiple layer with 5 ply sealing strips (each with 0.2 mm thick) with 460 F design temp, and the material 316 SS.
I think multiple layer is better to keep elasity and sealing performance. I believe 316 SS is OK for 500 - 700 F.

Hope this can help.

RE: Lamiflex sealing
