Entitities drawn over viewport areas do not display

(OP)
Autocad 2002: any drawing entity (line, circle, text etc.) does not show on screen display where viewports exist on a drawing, but they display on the layout beyond viewport area. The same entities however are able to plot/print over the whole layout. Can anyone please tell me what needs to be done to overcome this problem? Thanks in advance.

RE: Entitities drawn over viewport areas do not display

I think I understand your problem... try to change the Display Order of your items.  Send the viewport to the back or bring your objects to the front.  Don't forget to regen: REA to regen all.
