Thumbnails (open diag.) dissapearaing! 2004

Hi,

It seems as if all my thumbnails are dissapearing from the File,Open dialog box when I have the paperspace background set to black. I had it set to white for the longest time. I have found that I like it better as black as I can keep using standard colors rather than pick "paper-friendly" colors.

Thumbnails show up correctly in windows explorer, and even in the File,Open box if selected (upper right corner, one at a time). I would like to view a folder of thumbnails just like a list of large icons.

I thought it might be a system variable like RASTERPREVIEW, but it's set to 1 as default.

Any ideas, folks?

What version of AutoCAD are you running?  What is the OS version you have?  This should help in determining what is going on with AutoCAD.

Thanks,

I'm running AutoCad 2004.0.0 SP0 on a Windows 2000 box with 768MB ram and an Elsa Synergy 2000 video card.

My company didn't pay for the subscription service, so getting patches and such isn't possible?

I patched to SP1, still doesn't work.

Thanks for the link, I guess I was unaware that I could get SPs without a subscription. That's the way Solidworks behaves.
