(OP)
I am new to AutoCAD having just acquired AutoCAD LT. I am attempting to draw a diagram of molding 5 1/2" in height, however I cannot arrange the model screen to represent the diagram large enough where I can work with the drawing . On the screen the 5 1/2" is closer to 2", making the work almost impossible to see it is so small. How does one adjust this?
Second, how do I print the diagram to scale?
Thanks, Mike.

Usually it is on the firts icon tool bar at the rigth hand, it is aicon with four arrow from center to N S E W
Other way type at the command line
Z and the E
Z if a nicname for ZOOM and E for EXTEND
Pardal
RE: drawing
You can also set your drawing limits to the approximate size of your drawing and perform anyone of the several zoom commands. I got a 14" compaq presario screen on which I perform architectural and mechanical drawings w/ ACAD 2004 with relative ease. You should be able to do the same.

Flores
RE: drawing
or Z and then W for Zoom
and Window and you have
to select the first and
second point of the window.
To plot, use Z and E
and then scale 1:1.
There should also be a button
for zoom at the top of your
screen as another choice. Another
button should be pan to move
around in the drawing after you
have zoomed in to the area you want
to work on.
