Natural Gas Boiler Outlet Gas Flow

I would like to have information about how to estimate the approx. outlet gas flow for a LNG boiler (CFM or lb/hr), in my case is for a 3 MMBTU boiler, the manufacturers usually show a suggested stack diameter but no the approx. gas flow.
Thank you for your help

RE: Natural Gas Boiler Outlet Gas Flow

Hi,
if you are talking about 3mmbtu, I assume it is the LNG flow capacity, per second or per hour. LNG LHV is around 880900btu/scf, which is 3,000,000/880~900.

Depending on the flame terperature, to determind the amount of excess air require, for example 1720K, the excess air would be 137%, the flow would be LNG(1+137%)

Hope this bold path can help you/PR
