Skeleton model

Skeleton model

(OP)
I would like to create a skeleton model as a base for an assembly. The problem is that the Skeleton option in the create component box is greyed out.
Does anyone know why this is? (I,m using Wildfire)
Thanx

I found the answer! You can only modify a skeleton within the basic assembly package NOT create one. Why don't PTC tell you this in the help section? I have found the control skeleton part which I can now modify.

RE: Skeleton model

To my understanding that option is an Advanced Assembly package feature.

RE: Skeleton model

Just in case you haven't done so.
You create the skeleton from within the assembly.
Will have look at how at work to remind my self.
Also use surfaces not siolids in skeleton.
