Contamination of seal oil
Contamination of seal oil
(OP)
hi,
Direct contact of process seal oil inside the centrifugal compressor sealing system, causes the contamination of oil by dissolve of heavy components hydrocarbons ( C7 to C12 ) include in the row gas.
The caracteristics of the used oil are :
Flash point is approxmatively 200° C
Viscosity is 46 Cst
Temperature of degasing crank is ( 75 - 85 °C )
Is s there any other kind of oil synthetic or mineral
with same caracteristics of used oil that the missibility of (C7 to C12 ) can’t happen ?
thanks
