low qty injection moulding

(OP)
The company I am contracting for deals with small quantitys, typically 150 a year of small products such as panels and joysticks. They work in casting at the moment. I am working on some new products and would like the company to use injection moulding in the future. Is this a viable option for a product such as a space bar on a keybpard for 150 a year for the next ten years plus. If not what maufacturing method would you suggest?
Thanks

RE: low qty injection moulding

For very low volume, it is possible to make a prototype part, then use that part to make an epoxy insert in a steel bolster. The epoxy insert may last foe a few shots to maybe a 100 or so. Another epoxy insert is then cast of the pattern.
