charging lithium ion batteries

(OP)
I'm trying the charge a pack of lithium ion batteries, but all information that I can find thus far will only allow 1 or 2 cells in series at a time.  Does anyone know of a curcuit that will allow 4 to 6 cells in serial?

RE: charging lithium ion batteries

do a search for the company "benchmarq".  They used to be the leaders in lithium-ion circuits.  I think they're now part of Texas Instruments.  If they don'T have a chip that does it all, they surely have app notes on the subject.
