Hi,

I just installed I-DEAS 10NX on Windows 2000.
When I try to run it, I faced a serious problem.
I could set a new project and a new model name but
I couldn't execute the program.
The program was crashed with the following message.
" geomod.exe error. the application program can not be initialized (0xc0000005). "

How can I figure out this trouble ?
Please let me know what I have to try to run the program.

Thank you.

RE: geomod.exe

I-DEAS10NX should be running on XP Pro. W2K is not a supported OS although others in this Forum have reported to have this combination running OKish.

Check the errorXXXX.out file, there's generally one created after an abnormal termination.

If this doesn't tell you anything then it will be quickest to uninstall and reinstall before starting to troubleshoot the problem.

RE: geomod.exe

Although I agree with RCDLtd about the error file, I'm currently running NX on windows 2000 and seems to be fine.
