Extremely short runner lengths on FI application

(OP)
Hi

I am busy playing with a few inlet manifold designs, and am wondering what would happen if you make the runners really short, 1" or so, and have the injectors sit inside the plenum?
All manufacturing aspects aside, what would happen, would the car be really dead at the bottom end?

The engine setup is:

Honda B16A Vtec engine 1.7L
83mm bore, 9:1 Static CR
77mm stroke

Turbo is a Garrett GT35R, usual spool is around 14.7psi @ 5000-5500rpm, but the engine is being built to handle around 11000rpm or maybe a bit more.
