Is it possible to achieve a surface hardness of 89 HR15N minimum on the nitrided case using the alloy EN 32CrMoV 12-9?

RE: Nitriding of 32CrMoV 12-9

I believe it would be possible with a liquid nitriding process.

RE: Nitriding of 32CrMoV 12-9

The web site below lists several grades of CrMoV steels and heat treatments that don't match exactly with your alloy. They do provide a marketing email address. Perhaps you can find out about your specific alloy and nitriding capability?

Yes.  It is possible to get 89HR15N using gas nitriding.
