Quantum Remote I/O

Quantum Remote I/O

Quantum Remote I/O

(OP)
I think i made a mistake when ordering my parts for a project i am doing..I have one controller and three racks.. I need to link all the racks to the controller. I purchased 3 crp 93100..(rio heads)...i think i should have got i head and two drops...can someone confirm if this is correct and even if it is will it still work?

Thanks

RE: Quantum Remote I/O

Yes DIO is what you will need if you plan to use MB+ port of the CPU.

FYI DIO updates remote racks every pass of the MB+ token.
RIO updates every PLC scan cycle.

understood..but i think you misread...i have 3 remote racks i was asking if i could use remote heads for all 3..I figured i could not but wanted to check.. i now know you cannot and have to have one remote head and the rest remote drops...

Thanks for taking the time anyway!

RE: Quantum Remote I/O

You need one 931 00 (head) for the "master" rack--the one with the processor--and probably a 932 00 (drop) for each of the remote IO racks.
