Rebar Weight

(OP)
What is the weight of a piece of rebar?  (#3, #4, #5, #6, #7, and #8)

I am also curious as to the comparitive price/ lb of rebar to W steel beam shapes.  Just trying to get a feel for the cost with the rising steel prices.

Thanks

RE: Rebar Weight

Check the appendices to a steel handbook - also, I believe in AASHTO M31.

RE: Rebar Weight

ACI318-99, appendix E lists rebar weights.

RE: Rebar Weight

Vendors will send you a chart as well.
