Unable to snap to dimension lines/points (Acad Mechanical 2000i)

Unable to snap to dimension lines/points (Acad Mechanical 2000i)

(OP)
The basic problem is I can't snap to dimension lines or points.  This makes it impossible to line up dimensions without exploding them.  I know I can use "dimcontinue" when going down a line - but that isn't what I need most of the time.

I have never had a problem with this until after I loaded the Power Pack for AutoCAD Mechanical 2000i.  I was able to snap to dim lines and points with no problem before then - just pick the end point of the arrow on another dim and the next one would be in line, etc.  Now however - I can't snap to any part of a dimension, unless I explode it.

There has got to be a setting of some sort that I am not finding.  There is nothing different in the "ddim" (Dim Style Manager) dialog.

Please help me!  I am ready to uninstall AutoCAD and try again if this doesn't cease!  (Or just go ahead and try using the ACAD Mech. 2004 that I have installed...)

Thanks in advance.

Thank You Exxit!  That was the problem exactly - that fixed it right up for me!
