INTRLAINK QUESTION

INTRLAINK QUESTION

INTRLAINK QUESTION

(OP)
Hi All,

Is there a way to set modified files in Workspace, so if you check out higher level assemblies to the same workspace these modified files will not be override by the files checking out, or have to manually remove the files that you do not want to check out at the check out stage?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Tofflemire

RE: INTRLAINK QUESTION

Not sure that I know how to do it directly, but you could check the assembly out to a different workspace. Once its there you can delete the models that would over-write your modified items, then you could export them to the original workspace.

Its not that ideal but it will work.

RE: INTRLAINK QUESTION

Change the setting so you only check out the selected file, not the required files.

RE: INTRLAINK QUESTION

Don't forget you can always remove the items that have a conflict during checkout.
