Failed to initialise Visual Basic

Failed to initialise Visual Basic

Failed to initialise Visual Basic

(OP)
It happened with few version of SldWks on different computers. I install the program, then trying to run it, the error message :
"Failed to initialise Visual Basic for Apps, equations and macros will not work. Are you low on disc space." v.2004
or "VBA init failed" in older version...

I have gigs of disk space. Can anyone help me?

Can it be because I have an AMD process?!?

RE: Failed to initialise Visual Basic

Did you disable the Anti-virus software when installing SW.

Try complete uninstall & reinstall of SW per FAQ559-488 & make sure AV is off.

from (the City of) Barrie, Ontario.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

RE: Failed to initialise Visual Basic

I did disabled the AV and even killed the process to be sure. I followed every steps of the FAQ559-488 and the message still appears...

What to do?

RE: Failed to initialise Visual Basic

Someone told me the reason could be that I have a french version of Windows... Trying to initialize visual basic component, the program wouldn't see the correct file because the extension is different or something like it...

Does it ring a bell to anyone?!?
