Sketching in assembly mode

(OP)
Has anyone tried creating a sketch in an assembly, and then tried to iges out the assembly? Did the sketches disappear?

RE: Sketching in assembly mode

Interesting.  I just tried to do this in SW2003, and I can't  I have the options to export sketches to IGES selected.  Only part sketches get exported.  Assembly level sketches are left behind.

Perhaps you can make a temporary part and copy the sketch entities (via "Convert Entities") to that part.

Due to illness, the part of The Tick will be played by... The Tick.
