Printer Setup in Pro/Engineer 2001

Printer Setup in Pro/Engineer 2001

(OP)
I do hope someone can help me?

Can anyone tell me how to set up pro/engineer 2001 so that I can use an inkjet printer.  At the moment the settings are pointing to a 'Postscript' printer which is currently a laserjet, however I want to change the printer settings to configure to my inkjet printer.  When I go to "Commands and settings" (In the "Print" dialogue box) and then to "Add Printer Type", it does NOT give me an option of selecting my required printer.

I am using a 'Windows' based platform and operating 'Windows 2000 Professional'.

I hope someone can help me?

Thanks,

nickr!

RE: Printer Setup in Pro/Engineer 2001

If I not mistaken when you print through proe you have access to "MS print manager". This way you should be able to print to any printer that is installed on Windows.
