Vertical Break

Vertical Break

Vertical Break

(OP)
Has anyone come up with a solution on how to insert a 'vertical break' in a view that has a cable coming out of a part at an angle? When I insert, the cable gets "broken" and the two sections are not in-line. I usually have to create two views, crop them, then align them. I have SW04 SP3.0.
Thanks

Someone here saw me type my question and thought..."Try rotating it before the vert break". WOW, it worked! It didn't work for me in SW03, didn't think to try it again in 04. DOH!
thanks anyway.

RE: Vertical Break

You could use construction or phantom lines to connect the cable ends after inserting the break .... much like "Explode Lines". Then you would not have to rotate the view & other views would still be aligned.
But, whatever works best for you
