I have an assembly that I'm working on, and when I go to put in a dimension between two parts or features, the dimension shows for a second, until I go to another command.  So I hit my hotkey (n) to show notes and dimensions, but nothing shows up. I've pulled down view, and the hide all types line is checked but also grayed out.  What have I done to this model? I checked the help file under "hide all types" and it says nothing about graying out or making it unavailable.  Incidently I'm running 2003.

BTW: CorBlimeyLimey,  I got plenty of film - it's the camera that's getting old and rusty  - the pictuers keep coming out all distorted
