Theoretical Sharp Corners????.... not!

Theoretical Sharp Corners????.... not!

Theoretical Sharp Corners????.... not!

(OP)
We often draw pulleys and parts with tapered sides and often chamfer or fillet the edge to break the sharp corner.  When we dimension the drawing of the part we NEED to dimension to the theoretical sharp corner of the intersection of the two surfaces but since they are not horizontal or vertical faces we have nothing to 'snap' the dimension to.

Is there a 'trick' to dimensioning to a theoretical sharp corner?  In SolidWorks there was a trick when dimensioning that allowed you to click two lines and the dimension would snap to the theoretical intersection.  Is there something in Inventor that we are overlooking????

Thanks!

RE: Theoretical Sharp Corners????.... not!

Okay, answered my own question.  Click a line, move OFF the line and RMB and select "intersection" and then click the second line and it clicks to the "implied" intersection.  Terminology difference.  :O)

Thanks!
