Thermocouple adhesive

Thermocouple adhesive

(OP)
I am trying to find an adhesive to attach a thermocouple to a GRP plate. I was considering sodium silicate adhesive which can hold at high temperatures but is not very flexible, which is a problem as the plate will be flexing. I've heard that mixing this with ball clay can produce a flexible adhesive which will hold at high temperatures. Has anyone tried this or any other method for a similar application.

RE: Thermocouple adhesive

Ceramic will do, but why not welding a clip to to hod it?

RE: Thermocouple adhesive

Look at using either epoxy or the same resin that the FRP is made from.

Cheers
