non-destructive investigation / bore scope
non-destructive investigation / bore scope
(OP)
Does anyone have any recommendations for firms in the Washington, DC area that provide non-destructive investigation of existing buildings? We are investigating a vibration problem associated with concealed ductwork. I am specifically interested in using a firm that uses a bore scope (fiber optic camera with integral light) in order to avoid the Owner having to demolish large openings to get direct access to the duct above and below the floor slab.
We believe the problem is caused by one of 1) contact of the duct to the building structure (a composite steel frame); or 2) the duct is flexing excessively (damaged integral stiffener?); or both.

of an old building, with some kind of fiber optic camera rather than harming the floor. Do you have any sources for this kind of work. I noticed you were look for the same issue a while ago.
