Hi

Please can anyone help me on keying in a 3D annotation symbol in between a text that is put for a part.

say an example of Dia symbol or tolerance symbol.

note: this is in surface.

say for example im giving an annotation for a hole in the part which shud cotain an dia synbol.

Hi,

Is this V4 or V5, if V4 I think the keystroke is CTL +ALT +W (it may be Q or E) try it and see, If V5 you can copy and paste from the CHARACTER MAP under START+ACCESSORIES+SYSTEM TOOLS or use ALT +0176

In V5, there is a INSERT SYMBOL tool that allows you to add engineering symbols (like dia) in your FT&A text.

The INSERT SYMBOL icon is to the right of the FRAME icon. Just click on the down triangle to open up the panel.
