CO detected in the conduit bringing the RTD cables to the JB

(OP)
In a H2 cooled generator, the operator detected CO (carbon monoxide) coming out of the conduit bringing the RTD wiring from inside the Generator to the JB.

The amount of CO detected was approximately 150ppm.

There is a small lube oil leakage into the generator (Collected by the liquid level detectors).

All the RTD's and TC's are showing normal values.
Current, voltage and excitation are well within design parameters.
H2 pressure and consumption are normal.

Flux Probe and PDA tests do not show any anomalies.

There are no H2 leaks.

Shutting down the generator now is out of the question unless a big H2 leak is detected.

Any ideas?

saludos.
