Help! We've applied Kynar shrinkable tubing to some of our sub-assemblies. When it was baked to shrink, the operator had set the oven temp too high. The tubing split. We can't get it off to rework. Tried scraping with a razor blade, but it's not working too well. Is there a method (mechanical, chemical, heat, cold) to remove this more easily?

RE: kynar tubing

Coil winding tapes are formulated to set after exposure to temp. Contact 3M or other mfrs to discuss wrapping your problem and briefly exposing to hot air blower.
