Could someone tell me the nominal chemical composition for DIN 1652 C 45 Pb K + N.

Thanks in advance
Gdodd

RE: DIN standard information

Its a free cutting carbon steel, nominally AISI 1045 but leaded.  I don't have exact composition, but...

DIN - Norm 17210-84   ---  1.0504

K + N = Drawn and Normalized

Hope this helps.

RE: DIN standard information

I think its an obsolete standard
C 45 is a carbon steel 0.42 to 0.5 carbon si<0.4  Mn 0.5 to 0.8%  P and S less than 0.45  with lead additions of 0.2 to 0.3%

Its material number is 1.0504
