Boolean Assembly vs. Add, what's the difference?
(OP)
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could clarify for me what the difference between a Boolean Assembly operation and an Add operation was. There doesn't seem to be any difference.

RE: Boolean Assembly vs. Add, what's the difference?
Assembly does either an Add or a Remove, based on the feature type. So, Assemble will perform an Add on positive mass features (pad, shaft, rib, etc); and Assemble will perform a Remove on negative mass features (pocket, groove, hole, etc).
RE: Boolean Assembly vs. Add, what's the difference?
For instance, If I Remove a hole, it still "removes the hole"
so it doesn't work like maths i.e. two negatives make a positive etc.
