Datum Target Symbol Problem in SW04

Datum Target Symbol Problem in SW04

Datum Target Symbol Problem in SW04

(OP)
Hi,

I'm doing a detail drawing of a casting that I need to define multiple datum target points on.  I can place the symbols as I require them however I cannot define the target diameter size that is required (.25" DIA). Every time that I try to do so SW flips me off and tells me the value is out of range (1 to 393.7007874).

Now I know that I was able to do this in SW03 without the annoyance I have now.  So if anyone can help me out and tell me WTF is up I'd be very grateful.

The value range seems to indicate a possible conflict between english and metric units (I'm using english) so I have checked my units to ensure there is no conflict.  I found nothing obvious.  Other than that I can only guess that this is a bug of some kind.

Thanks.

RE: Datum Target Symbol Problem in SW04

Have you put in the metric equivalent? If so did you get what you needed?

from (the City of) Barrie, Ontario.

If everything is going well, you have obviously overlooked something

No, the target area circle diameter is resized according to the english units.  I found a work around though.  It works whenever I enter the target diameter as 0.25.  The zero prefix makes all the difference in the world.
