Were can I find standard values for mig welding.
Basically what im after is a starting point of recommended wire size, wire feed speed, amps , volts, gas flow, travel speed for different size materials and different makes of materials. (preferabbly in metric)
There must be some tables somewhere that give you these values to work to.
Can anyone help.......

RE: Welding parameters

This web site might help you regarding practical information on GMAW (MIG);

www.infodotinc.com/steelworker1/86.htm

From this point you can use the web to find specific information on GMAW welding parameters for various materials.
