Making items further away in assemblies look smaller

Making items further away in assemblies look smaller

Making items further away in assemblies look smaller

(OP)
I'm using Solidworks Education Edition on Windows xp...

Anyway, I have two different assemblies that I want to combine in one assemly, however there is a problem.  I would like the render to look as though one item is much farther away than the one next to the "camera."  Basically as if I were holding a basketball next to my eye and also looked at a basketball 100 feet away.  The one next to my eye would appear bigger to me.

It appears that it does not matter how far away I drag the two objects, they both appear the same size.  I am wondering if there is an option/feature that sizes things as if it were real life.

RE: Making items further away in assemblies look smaller

Look up perspective in the help.

Try menu picks "View --> Display --> Perspective" and "View --> Modify --> Perspective"

There are two types of people in the world: the kind that believe that people can be categorized into one of two groups and the kind that don't.
