We're in the process of planning a new loading station ( conveyor loading transfer car ,measuring bins then into skips)- the current layout had two conveyors because of the orientation of the existing ore/waste passes- to eliminate one belt we asked engineering to look at the layout again- now the drawing shows one belt but the conveyor is at about a 30 degree angle to the transfer car/neasuring bins- all my expeience has belt in line with the transfer car? anyone have experience with a loadout belt on an angle?

The company I work for has done dozens, if not hundreds, of loading pocket designs. While I can't recall seeing a specific arrangement at a shaft such as you describe, I don't see why it couldn't be made to work. Such transfers are not uncommon in belt transfers, and in some cases in headframes (not necessarily with belts, but the transfers are at skewed angles).
Depending on actual muck conditions, you should be able to "train" the muck to deflect off of your transfer car and/or other (fixed) chutes to direct it properly. Oftentimes with angled transfers, what you need is additional height to make a transfer work. Transfers usually get more difficult when dealing with difficult muck (e.g. sticky), limited excavation room (particularly head room), or transferring onto a belt traveling in a direction opposite to the trajectory of oncoming muck.
Do you have a specific concern with the design or are you just trying to see what else is out there?
