Inventor New Materials???? ACK!!!!

Inventor New Materials???? ACK!!!!

Inventor New Materials???? ACK!!!!

(OP)
We have been appending to our materials library for Inventor 8 and found a couple of difficulties.  First, all the units are metric with no offering that we have found to change to standard units.  Secondly, we have difficult times converting material information from suppliers into the required units like Young's Modulus in GPa.

Has anyone come up with shortcuts to enter the required data in for new materials?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Inventor New Materials???? ACK!!!!

1.  No way to change it to English units.  Try one of the many free websites to convert units.
2.  All you "have" to have is density.  The rest are not used.  However if oyu want them www.matweb.com is a good resource.
