Can anyone suggest where I can find a piping standard for anhydrous hydrochloric acid? Typical concentrations are 32%w/w and dilute at 3 to 5%w/w

RE: Anhydrous Piping Standard

Maybe this is a wrong forum for the question.  Try those guys in "Chemical plant design & operations" forum.

balu1,

I am currently trying to chase up information on hydrochloric acid storage and piping systems from the Chlorine Institute, Inc. Refer to webpage www.cl2.com

However, if anyone has information/experience on recommended pipe materials and velocities for 32% w/w anhydrous hydrochloric acid, I would be appreciate their input.
