Dissimilar Metals

Dissimilar Metals

(OP)
This post is an elaboration from Thread507-89461.

Does anyone have information or comments referencing dissimilar metal contact?  I am particularly interested in galvanized fasteners and anchors, used to fasten mild steel or carbon steel components, drag struts, collectors, etc. and passing through preservative treated wood.  If it is necessary to galvanize the anchor due to contact with the treated wood, is it also necessary to galvanize the steel due to its' contact with the galvanized anchor?  (The steel collector can be separated from the treated wood by use of 30# felt.)

Comments on other metals are encouraged.

Thank you!
