case bleeds on boiler feedwater pump

(OP)
Currently using Rockwell-Edwards V317 3/4" for our BFW pump case bleeds. Operating pressure is typically >1700psi. These valves have a history of not sealing after being used to warm up the pump. I have found some history of Rockwell-Edwards valves being notorious for packing gland follower failures. Our problem are more an issue the the valves simply leaking through and spewing hot, high-pressure boiler feedwater. Anyone have suggestions for better valves in this service?
