looking for product (Winn Viscotec)

(OP)
I am looking for a product that I used about 7 years ago.  My recollection is that the product name was Viscotec and it was made by a company called Winn.

My need is to find a suitable lubricant for pin & hanger on a bridge.  The product was sprayed on (out of an aerosol can) initially had the consistency of a penetrating oil, and a few hours later it had a waxy consistency.

I would appreciate it if anyone can direct me to the above mentioned product or a suitable replacement.

Get hold of Ct DOT as they had many of the pin and hanger on bridge retrofitted w/ safety devices to prevent the spans from falling off.

manual90,

The product you are looking for sounds a lot like motorcycle chain grease.  It is extremely penetrating when sprayed on and as the lighter stuff evaporates it quickly leaves behind a heavy grease.  Ideal for lubing a motorcycle chain, penetrates into the side plates and pins of the chain and then evaporates to a grease that won't get slung out easily.  You can get several different brands from most auto parts stores or any motorcycle dealer.
