electrical boundary conditions in piezoelectric analysis

electrical boundary conditions in piezoelectric analysis

(OP)
Hi

I am trying to perform an indentation (spherical indenter) analysis of piezoelectric films. The problem is the electrical boundary conditions that change with the applied force. When a node is closed the electrical potential has to be zero whereas the node is open no BC should be applied. I have used DISP and MPC subroutines but finally these subroutines cannot be used to solve this problem. Does someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance
stergios
