High G load switch
High G load switch
(OP)
This is my first post, hope this is the right section. IF it belongs somewhere else, let me know.
I'm looking for a highly reliable miniature switch. SPDT type and roughly 1/2" above the mounting surface. The catch is that it has to withstand a G load of 30 Voltage is 9V DC and current is less than 1A.
They will be used for arming avionics in a rocket. Thus the reason for reliabilty. If they were to momentarily disconnect, the result would be catastrophic.
The main source I have looked at is digikey. The ITT toggle switch with locking actuator looks like it would apply to my needs. Are there any other good ones that I have overlooked? Thanks.
