Ideas drawing default file?

Ideas drawing default file?

Ideas drawing default file?

(OP)
Been using Ideas10 lately and looking for a drafting preferences solution.  I'm looking for a default file of some type where I can set the drawing precision to default to Precise hidden?  I would also like to set the default dimensioning and text sizes to 2.5 height (current default 3).  I'm sure ideas has a file somewhere I can change a few settings so each time I start a new drawing, I can save some time.  Any suggestions from the group would be great.

Thanks!!

RE: Ideas drawing default file?

Hi,
From MasterDrafting, File>FD>Save> write the file masterdrafting.mm . In this file will be there all settings of your drawing in that moment.
For make changes, you must edit a dimension in your drawing, setting for example the correct text size, before of exit active tha switch KS-Lock settings.
From MasterDrafting, File>FD>Save> overwrite the file masterdrafting.mm . In this file will be there all changes of your drawing in that moment.
Excuse me for my bad English
Fabio

Fabio,

Thanks for the reply about writing out the masterdrafting file.  I understand that what ever setting I write as output File/FD/Save will be stored in this file.  Is this file than attached to the model file, so the next time I open the file, it will use this new Masterdrafting.mm file?

Can you also change some setting and menu locations for Master modeler.

Thanks for your help.
