Copying table of text to Catia V4?

Copying table of text to Catia V4?

Copying table of text to Catia V4?

(OP)
Hello,

I want to copy a table of text to a Catia V4 drawing,
is that possible to do somehow (without creating single text elements since it takes ages)

Basically I have excel sheets that I want to add to the Catia 4 drawings.

RE: Copying table of text to Catia V4?

I think you can insert text from file using the more tab at the upper right hand of the Text Window and the FIL button on the lower part of the window. However I've not done so yet as I'm new to Catia V4 but if I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Easy Method

Use Quick Text option on the Tools Pull down menu.
Pick position for text and a text editor window will open.
Then just select the text you want and paste it using your middle mouse button.
This is faster and not as complicated as trying to import from a file.
