I have a requirement to machine a flatness on an area of less than 16mm to with 0.001mm....yes mm! This is on a titanium part and I need a source that is capable of achieving this....any help would be appreciated.

Here are two companies that we used for Superfinishing various components. There is another very simple system that we used. I'll try to find the literature.
If you can lap the part using diamond lapping you might look at Engis, we used their systems with excellent results.
