CT Curves

(OP)
Can anyone suggest how one can obtain ( through the web perhaps) a set of mag curves for a range of CT ratios

RE: CT Curves

RajT-

The excitation curve of a CT depends on more than just the ratio. It depends on the number of secondary turns, the core material, and the size (cross sectional area)of the core.

Bottom line is that you need to get curves from the manufacturer.

Suggestion: Visit

etc. for more info

RE: CT Curves

Just a note on jbartos' post. These web sites show only typical excitation curves and as I mentioned previously, you must get curves from the manufacturer that match the units you have.

RE: CT Curves

Question to the original posting: Please, what do you intend to use them for?
