AR qty on a bill of materials?

AR qty on a bill of materials?

AR qty on a bill of materials?

(OP)
Does anyone know how to get a quantity of AR (for "as required") to show up on a solidworks BOM?  This would be for things like epoxy, solder, heatshrink, etc - consumables.  I have our BOM templates set up to show things like our part #, description, etc. (all tied to PDM), and would like to add some as required items to PDM so that their qty's automatically show up as AR.

Thanks for the help.

RE: AR qty on a bill of materials?

Using an excle based BOM we added a units column that holds an A/R marker and the QTY shows as 1 for items such as loctite, solder, etc.  Hope this helps
