Driving a 3v dc motor
Driving a 3v dc motor
(OP)
Hi,
I'd like to drive a small 3V motor with a mosfet driver ic, but couldn't find a proper one. I'm looking for something like MAX4420, but with lower supply voltage.

You should (probably) also have a DC-DC converter to increase the voltage of the control electronics. A higher gate voltage allows the MOS to be properly 'on'.
Note also that the 1.5 ohm output impedance of MAX4420 seems to be a bit high to drive a motor.
